Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Gypsy the Dog needs a home

Gypsy is a 5 year old heartworm positive lab mix who made the long trip with the others from SC. You may remember her puppies, the G litter, who needed to be bottle fed so that she could begin heart worm treatment. Gypsy was spayed and began treatment in her new foster home.  Gypsy is a shy but sweet loving girl on the path to be as healthy as she is beautiful. She is less stressed but a little nervous around men - we are working on that with her. She just really wants to sit in your lap and be loved! Gypsy is all done with her heartworm treatment, she is healthy, happy, active and eager to find her forever. She is still a little nervous with anything new and very nervous with men. After all this girl has been through before coming into rescue who could blame her for being nervous. She just needs love and patience and you will not be disappointed with the wonderful dog that is under that shyness. Could you give her a chance?
